There shall be a Special Election to elect a qualified citizen to serve the remainder of Martin Alcala’s term.  He or she shall serve until
 December 31st, 2009. 

The Special Election will take place on Saturday, May 10th

Three new Peo'tskome (Tribal Council) members were elected. 
They were sworn in by Associate California Supreme Court Justice, Carlos Moreno, on September 22, 2007.

The ceremony took place near the Puvugna site.
